Aikido - The Way of Harmony

Aikido is a comprehensive self-defense system suitable for training by people of all ages and physical condition. Aikido is non-competitive, with the goal of allowing a person to grow at their own pace and to achieve the physical, mental and spiritual goals they set for themselves. Principles of Aikido apply to both physical conflict, such as an attack in which self-defense becomes necessary, and non-physical conflict, such as verbal confrontations at home or even work, where the goal may be to peacefully resolve the conflict and not escalate it.

Iaido - The Way of Harmonizing Oneself in Action

Iaido is based on the art of drawing a sword smoothly and completing a set of movements, called forms or kata. Iaido is a very personal martial art, where the goal is to seek harmony, discipline and precision within oneself; Iaido is sometimes referred to as "moving Zen."

Kendo - The Way of the Sword

Kendo is based on traditional swordsmanship and does provide a competitive element for those that choose to do so. The concept of Kendo is to discipline the human character through the application of the principles of the Katana (sword).
